Levels & Merging

Standard merges use three Level 1 copies for Level 2, then two Level 2 copies for Level 3.

Panbud evolves at Level 3Without merge modifiers, Panbud at Level 1 becomes Level 2 from three Level 1 copies. Two Level 2 copies reach Level 3, where Panbud evolves into Bambudo. Other species have their own evolution conditions.3 × Lv. 12 × Lv. 2PanbudLevel 1PanbudLevel 2BambudoLevel 3 · evolves
Panbud evolves at Level 3. This example uses the ordinary merge requirements, without modifiers.

How it works

  • An ordinary Level 1 merge needs three copies in the same merge group. Swoonet needs two copies. Grow Lamp reduces the requirement for Grass Batomon.
  • Two Level 2 Batomon in the same merge group combine into one Level 3 Batomon.
  • Ordinary merges stop at Level 3. Special level-up effects can reach Level 4. Swoonet merges beyond Level 4, and Kappow can gain more levels after victories.
  • Current level values can change cooldown, Multicast, stats, and ability numbers by level.
  • Added types survive a merge, and any shiny ingredient makes the result shiny.

Standard merges

3 × Level 1 → Level 2; 2 × Level 2 → Level 3

These are the ordinary merge requirements without modifiers. Swoonet needs two copies per level and merges further. Kappow can level beyond 4 through victories.
